Library Guidelines

Classes line up quietly outside the library and wait until the teacher arrives.
Bags may be brought into the library but are not to be carried around.
Students need their library card to borrow resources.
Overdue resources must be returned before you borrow anything else.
Students are to remain in their booked area until the siren. Please don't wait at the Exit door.

Borrowing from the Library

Lower school students may borrow up to 4 items; Upper school students may borrow up to 8 items for a two week period. All you need to do is bring your library card and the book(s) to the front desk. Teachers may organise bulk loans on specific topics. Please allow enough time for processing. If you happen to lose a library book please come and see Ms Bradley.

Using Computers

Library computers are available for student use at lunch time and computers are attached to each of the research areas. There is one colour printer available for student and teacher use.
Students using computers at lunchtime must bring their library card to the front desk. Cards can be collected when you have finished using the computer.
Students violating the "Student Internet Users Agreement" will have their network access revoked.

Your Friendly Library Staff

The Library is currently staffed by Sally Bradley (Library Officer). Ask Ms Bradley  for any help you need finding information or fun things to read.

Library Cards & Smartriders

All students are issued with a free library card at the beginning of Year 8 and again at the beginning of Year 11. If you lose your library card you will need to come and see one of the library staff and pay $2 for a replacement. You need a library card to borrow resources and to use the library computers at lunchtime.
Smartriders are also issued through the library. If you have lost your smartrider a replacement card can be ordered from the library for $5. Adding value to your smartrider must be done through Transperth facilities.
