FUNDING BOOSTS FOR SWAN VIEW!

Swan View has been awarded $50K to implement a range of energy efficiency measures by the National Solar Schools Program.

We have also been awarded over $4K by a Teachers Credit Union grant to create a "yarning place" . This will kickstart a 3 year project to create a native indigenous bush food and medicine garden as part of an integrated student curriculum.

Well done Swan View!

The Achieving Curriculum Excellence "ACE" program targets academically gifted students and ensures they are provided an extensive and rigorous curriculum.

Students from years 8 to 10 will receive support and extra-curricular academic opportunities both at school and from our partner organisations to ensure they are able to access a university course of their choice at the conclusion of Year 12 at Swan View.

The student selection process and invitation to ACE will take place at the beginning of term one.  Students and parents interested in the ACE program should contact Mrs Vicki Spraggs, ACE Coordinator on 9294 0100.
